2019 Summer Camp Offerings

Confidence, Character & Compassion through Stories

for kids ENTERING 1-3rd grade

June 10-14th

We will be using literature to learn important life skills and lessons, but SHHH… don’t tell your kids that! They’ll think it sounds like school, and this is SUMMER! They won’t even know they’re picking up these important values, because they will be busy listening to and discussing stories, playing games, doing arts & crafts, and making friends!

Space is limited to 12 campers, ensuring each child has plenty of interaction and attention from me!

Power Up! ~ Resilience, Grit & Growth Mindset

for kids ENTERING 3-5th grade

June 17-21st

This is an empowering week filled with games, arts & crafts and other activities designed to teach grit and growth mindset. Together we will identify some of their strengths, and I will guide them through the process of setting and achieving goals, but whatever you do…. DON”T tell them that! I don’t know many kids, who’d say, “I can’t wait to work on some goals this summer.” They want to relax and play, and they should! I teach it  in such a way that the kids are excited to try new things, and even understand that failure is actually necessary if we want to grow! Our motto will be “I can do hard things!”

Space is limited to 12 campers, ensuring each child has plenty of interaction and attention from me!

Free to be Me! ~ Empowerment Camp for Girls

June 24-28th

for GIRLS ENTERING 4-6th grade

Through art, games and other activities, the girls feel empowered and be inspired to make positive change, whether it be with friends, academics, siblings or setting goals! They will identify their strengths through activities that help them see their unique gifts. They will then learn to apply those strengths in areas of weakness which helps nurture a growth mindset. They will learn how to identify and deal with toxic friendships, and will discover the difference between “fitting in” and “belonging.” The foundation of the camp is based on gratitude and cultivating kindness. I’m confident your daughter will “stand a little taller” at the end of the week! This will be a week of personal growth for sure!

Space is limited to 12 campers, ensuring each child has plenty of interaction and attention from me!

More Free to be Me! ~ Dream Camp

July 15-19th

for GIRLS ENTERING 6-8th grade

This week we will dig a little deeper to discover some of their biggest hopes and dreams. Along with games and fun, they will create a Vision Board (AKA Dream Board) They will follow a BE~DO~HAVE structure, which is awesome!! Because… there’s not just a focus on attaining material things. BE~ Who do I want to be? How do I want to feel? DO~ What activities bring me joy, and push me toward reaching my goals? HAVE~ Okay…this tends to be the material stuff, but there’s more to it than that.  What do I want to have, and what do I need to DO in order to have/get those things?  This week will help the girls envision a positive future, and they’ll have a plan to create it!
