Communicate with Confidence
An interactive Workshop for Parents
Kids and parents aren’t speaking the same language. We understand the words coming out of each other’s mouths, but we aren’t receiving the intended message. Join me for an interactive workshop, where you will get clear on what’s getting in your way when trying to communicate with your child. You will identify some of the ineffective methods you’re currently using, and you will learn new strategies you can implement immediately. I will also share the top 3 reasons kids sometimes don’t want to talk to their parents, and how you can start to open the lines of communication with your kids.
Space is limited to 10 participants. The small group setting will allow you to dig deep, and gain a clear understanding of what’s getting in your way, and how you can confidently move forward to improve communication with your kid(s). This workshop is appropriate for parents with kids in grades 4-12.

Peer Pressure, Porn and Parenting, Oh My!
Whether we like it of not… we need to talk to our kids and teens about the dangers of pornography. Understanding the neuroscience behind it, might be the kick in the pants you need, to work up the courage to do it!
This workshop will focus primarily on the why/how to talk to your child ages 8 thru teens about pornography. I will also address peer pressure and what you can do, to not only help your child avoid it, but to take responsibility if they give in to it.
By the end of this workshop, you will:
*Have a game plan and a resource to address pornography with your child or teen.
*Understand the science behind pornography and how it affects the brain.
*Have a specific plan to present to kids ages 8 – 12 that will help them avoid and/or get out of a surprise pornography exposure.
*Know how to talk to your child about the difference between peer pressure and a poor choice.
*Know “what NOT to do” if you want your child to open up to you.

Group dynamics can be amazing! I love that we will be able to share our unique stories and experiences with each other. It will make the book experience more valuable, because we can learn from, and bounce ideas off each other. Something I bring to the table as a Life Coach for Kids is authentic insight into the Middle Schooler’s brain. My kid-clients tell me things they don’t want to tell their parents. Guess what? That’s you! Your kid doesn’t want to tell you stuff! And it’s not for the reasons you think. I can help coach you, based on my experience working with kids to a better, more open, and calm relationship with your Middle Schooler.
